This is Funny, You Should Watch It of the Day: Comedian Sean Kleier takes to the streets of NYC ahead of Independence Day to pay homage to his favorite American president: Bill Pullman.
We just watched Independence Day, in all of its campy, ridiculously pro-American glory, so you can trust me when I say that this dude’s delivery is right on. Hilarious.
One time, at a party in college, I noticed a sealed envelope taped to the living room wall. It was labeled “in case of emergency”. Completely impulsively, and without justification, I opened it. The letter informed me that I was under obligation to deliver the Independence Day speech, in full, in my best Bill Pullman. The speech was printed out in letters big enough to be read in the dim light. I complied.
It was not July, or even in the summer, and plenty of the people in the crowded room were not raised in the US (and therefore had missed out on/tut-tutted ID4).
